GLYNCO, Georgia - Due to Hurricane Ian's projected path, the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) has temporarily suspended training at its Glynco, GA. training delivery point (TDP) effective Tuesday, September 27 through Friday, September 30, 2022. Approximately 2,000 students will begin to evacuate the Glynco TDP to a safe location following the completion of training on Monday, September 26. FLETC's essential personnel will remain on-site to ensure site safety and security.

"The health, safety, and welfare of the FLETC community is our utmost priority," said Director Thomas J. Walters. "Based on our experience, we determined that there is a very high likelihood the storm will cause flooding accompanied by potential power outages and a loss of support services. Our goal is to get back to FLETC's important training mission as soon as we can safely do so."

FLETC's Office of Security and Professional Responsibility (OSPR)/Emergency Management and Continuity Branch (EMC) continues to monitor Hurricane Ian and its projected impacts at other TDPs.
