IUIU To Host 5-Day Workshop on Cybersecurity at Kampala Campus

The Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) in partnership with the Africa Centre of Excellence (ACE) of Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, is hosting a 5-day intensive modular training workshop on Cybersecurity, from 22^nd to 26^th May 2023, at IUIU Kampala Campus. The workshop is expected to attract more than 100 participants from both the academia and industry sectors, within Uganda. The training is part of the bigger agenda of the ACE's goal, of building the human capacity of Africa in key emerging technologies. To this extent, the selected trainees shall not pay any fees for the training.

The workshop targets persons who routinely handle ICT tasks such as Security, Network, Database, and System administration, as well as academic researchers in the area of cybersecurity. Below is the outline of the training program.
