Delta issues waiver for travelers affected by forecasted weather in the Northeast

The travel waiver applies to airports in Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Maine, effective Oct. 25-26, 2021.

Where: Boston (BOS); Hartford/Springfield (BDL); Newark (EWR); New York City (JFK, LGA); Philadelphia (PHL); Portland, Maine (PWM); Providence (PVD); White Plains (HPN).

When: October 25-26, 2021.

Due to forecasted weather in the Northeast, Delta has issued a travel waiver for those who may be impacted, effective Oct. 25-26, 2021. With this, the fare difference for customers will be waived when rebooked travel occurs on or before Oct. 29, 2021.

Delta's Meteorology team in the airline's Operation and Customer Center will continue to monitor the storm and make tactical adjustments as needed.
