OPB statement regarding Mike Golub

Mike Golub, previously President of Business for the Portland Timbers and Thorns, is a current OPB board member and has been since 2017. The leadership of our board of directors is aware of the NWSL report released on October 3 by the U.S. Soccer Federation and is evaluating how it impacts OPB.

OPB is committed to a work environment free from discrimination and harassment. We do not tolerate behavior that is unwelcome, intimidating, hostile, threatening or offensive in our own workplace, and it is our policy that all staff members, community members, vendors, contractors and visitors are assured a respectful and productive environment at OPB.

While our board members are not involved in the day-to-day management of OPB, we should expect them to live up to OPB's values in their role with OPB and their lives outside of our organization.
