May 18: Home Run Derby

The City of Moorpark also invites you and your family to join us at our MOORPARK HOMETOWN HOME RUN DERBY. This event will be held on Saturday, May 18 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Join us for an evening of baseball fun and a delicious BBQ dinner! This event is suitable for both children and adults. Adults can enter in one of two divisions - furthest hits (where you can bring your own bat) or most home run hits (you must use the bat provided). Children will be grouped into age divisions to compete for the most home runs hit. Prizes for winners and runner ups will be awarded for each division. All batters (children and adults) must provide their own pitcher for all the competitions. Registration is $25 for adults and $15 for children; fees include dinner and t-shirt.
