ACL's Office of Elder Justice and Adult Protective Services is seeking reviewers and moderators for two different upcoming panels:
Elder Justice Innovation Grants Panel: Reviewers and moderators should have documented expertise in some or all of the following areas: aging, abuse, neglect and exploitation in the area of elder justice, guardianship, adult protective services, substance misuse, evaluation and study design, and budget. Reviewer responsibilities include:
Completing mandatory reviewer and moderator training (90 min-hour webinar). This teleconference is anticipated to take place the last week of April 2022
Independently reviewing and scoring assigned grant applications. Reviewers will be assigned approximately 5 - 6 applications and should estimate approximately three hours per application.
Participating in a teleconference (scheduled for three hours) with other reviewers to discuss their independent application reviews. This teleconference is anticipated to take place between May 16 and June 4, 2022.
Identifying potential conflicts of interest as soon as possible once applications are assigned.
Non-federal reviewers will receive nominal compensation for completing the tasks above.
