Executive Order on establishing staffing levels of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation

In accordance with Article 4 of Federal Law On Defence No. 61-FZ of May 31, 1996, the President ordered that the staffing levels of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation total 2,209,130 ​​persons, including 1,320,000 military personnel.

The Government of the Russian Federation has been instructed to provide the Ministry of Defence with appropriate funding from the federal budget.
