On March 17, 2024, Troopers arrested Nicole C. LaRock, age 36, of Ogdensburg, NY for petit larceny, obstruction of governmental administrative 2^nd, and resisting arrest.

On March 17, 2024, at approximately 5:52 p.m., Troopers responded to the Shoe Department located on Canton Street in the town Oswegatchie for a larceny complaint. An investigation determined LaRock entered the store, stole merchandise valued at $129.95 passing all points of purchase with paying. LaRock fled the scene prior to law enforcements arrival. Troopers located LaRock, and at that time she continued to flee. Troopers continued to give LaRock commands to stop but she refused. The Troopers caught LaRock and placed her in custody.

LaRock was arrested and transported to SP Ogdensburg for processing. She was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Oswegatchie for a later date in April.
