Tucson, Ariz. -- The UNI Panthers struggled on the final day of the Hillenbrand Invitational, falling to the No. 2 Oklahoma Sooners 8-0 despite the efforts of sophomore , who went 1-for-3 with a double.
Kelley (0-1) started and took the loss in the circle for UNI (4-7).
Kelley led the way offensively for the Panthers, going 1-for-3 in the ballgame with a double.
UNI managed three chances with runners on third in the shutout, going a total of 0-for-4 with runners in scoring position. The Panthers last got a runner on third in the fifth, when senior made it 60 feet away from scoring with one out.
