Shortest Launch Interval Record for Private Commercial Rockets Set in Beijing E-Town

On May 29, May 31 and June 6, a commercial rocket company in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (or "Beijing E-Town" for short) successfully launched its rockets three times in nine days. According to a recent report from Beijing E-Town, over 30 commercial rockets are scheduled to be launched this year in Beijing E-town with the launch frequency expected to increase by 130 percent over last year.

Using the Ceres-1 private rocket, the three launches have each shown significant breakthroughs. On May 29, a sea-launched launch vehicle lifted off successfully, carrying four satellites. Just one day later, the land-launched Y-12 carrier rocket sent five satellites into orbit, setting a record for the shortest launch interval in the history of China's private commercial rockets. At 13:00 on June 6, the Y-13 carrier rocket sent three satellites and the Aphrodite in-orbital testing platform into space.

Currently, Beijing E-town is home to over 70 aerospace enterprises, covering sectors like those of launch vehicles, rocket engines, and satellite manufacturing. Over 75 percent of commercial rocket research and development enterprises nationwide are located here, generating an output value exceeding CNY 30 billion.
