Rachele Edwards Recognized as Top Woman in Finance

MINNEAPOLIS (Nov. 19, 2021) - Alerus is pleased to announce Rachele Edwards, client services manager, has been named a 2021 Top Woman in Finance by Finance & Commerce. The award recognizes Minnesota women who are making an impact in their professions and in their communities. Honorees are selected by Finance & Commerce with input from a third-party panel of industry experts.

Edwards joined Alerus in September 2019 and has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. As client services manager, she oversees a team of approximately 40 service and support staff throughout Alerus' six Twin Cities locations. During the COVID-19 pandemic, her leadership and dedication to continuously improve processes enabled her team to successfully serve clients while supporting employees who were adapting to remote work sites. She also played a significant role in streamlining operational hours and implementing and adapting return-to-work plans.

Edwards is an ardent believer in giving back to her community and contributing her skills to benefit those in need. Before relocating to Minneapolis in 2019, she was an active volunteer in her community Colorado, where she regularly provided financial literacy presentations to various groups and contributed her time to many non-profits, including Habitat for Humanity, the Humane Society, and local organizations focused on helping the homeless, hungry, and victims of domestic violence.
