Patriots Jet Team to Deliver Adrenaline-Fueled Air Show Ahead of Toyota/Save Mart 350

On June 9, just moments before the Toyota/Save Mart 350 NASCAR Cup Series race roars to life, fans will be treated to the awe-inspiring aerial acrobatics of the Local/Northern California Patriots Jet Team as they perform an unforgettable Air Show.

The highly-anticipated return of the Air Show takes center stage as part of the pre-race festivities for race day and marks its 17th consecutive year at Sonoma Raceway. The Patriots Jet Team promises to deliver an adrenaline-fueled spectacle that will leave spectators on the edge of their seats. As one of the most beloved traditions of NASCAR weekend, the Air Show adds an extra layer of excitement and entertainment for racegoers of all ages.

The pre-race program/demonstration will feature six-L-39 Albatross jets strutting their fast-paced formation flying, choreographed aerobatic maneuvers and their signature "Tail Slide," where the aircraft actually slides backwards toward the ground.

In addition to the Air Show, fans can look forward to a full-slate of racing, fun and entertainment throughout the jam-packed, 3-day race weekend. Kicking off race weekend on the freshly-repaved road course on Friday night, June 7, will be the rising stars of the ARCA Menards Series West General Tire 200. On Saturday, for just the second time ever, the up-and-coming stars of the NASCAR Xfinity Series take on one of the most challenging road courses on the NASCAR circuit for the Sonoma 250. The 35th running of the Toyota/Save Mart 350 NASCAR Cup Series race caps off the weekend on Sunday. There will also be practice and qualifying for all series as well as the return of the Historic Trans Am racing series throughout the weekend.
