Speakers Seized, 7 Arrested, 5 Cars Towed in Dorchester Late-Night Disturbance Crackdown

On Monday, May 20, 2024, members of the Auto Theft Task Force, along with the area B-2 N.E.S.T. team, arrested seven individuals, towed five cars, and seized several large speakers in response to numerous community concerns about late-night revelers causing disturbances.

Officers were investigating the area of Pier Point Road in Dorchester due to past community complaints and active 911 calls about revelers causing a disturbance. During the investigation, officers observed suspects congregating and playing loud music at decibel levels comparable to nightclub levels. The following individuals were arrested:

  • Alexi Mateo Santana, 37, of Boston
  • Baryan Bernabe-Cruz, 24, of Mattapan
  • Janderson Moreno, 20, of Roxbury
  • Jonathan Cruz, 25, of Lawrence
  • Luis Angel Pina Espinal, 23, of Dorchester
  • Veanny Diaz, 23, of Roslindale
  • Yunior Munoz Villar, 22, of Dorchester

All suspects were charged with disturbing the peace and are expected to be arraigned at West Roxbury District Court.
