According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on its metals and minerals trading floor 342,000 tonnes of iron ore pellets, 127,100 tonnes of sponge iron, 4,010 tonnes of rebars, 3,898 tonnes of I-beams, 700 tonnes of CRC for home appliance manufacturers and 200 tonnes of steel blooms.
Next was the IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor with trade of 4,888 tonnes of chemicals, 2,551 tonnes of polymeric products, 2,000 tonnes of lube cut (light grade) and 374 tonnes of methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI).
It's worth noting as well that the IME's export ring saw trade of 27,750 tonnes of bitumen.
There were also 7,605 tonnes of cement sold in matching trading system.
Last was the IME's side market which saw trade of 150 tonnes of polyethylene wax (PE Wax) and 26 tonnes of metal scraps.
