Facing Georgia’s Opioid Challenge
During the May 17, 2022, Cities Connect call, Cassandra Price, Director of the Office of Addictive Diseases with the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (GDBHDD), discussed the ongoing opioid epidemic in Georgia. She provided updated information on the impact of opioids in Georgia, current services being provided by DBHDD to local communities, and reviewed the opioid settlements that will have an impact across the state.
