Minister Albares presents the new issue of “Política Exterior”

In his speech, José Manuel Albares praised Josep Piqué, of whom he emphasised his "nobility in politics", understood as "the noblest activity at the service of the citizenry". In his remarks on international current affairs, the minister reiterated that "we Europeans must remain united in our firm support for Ukraine, in defence of its freedom and sovereignty, and of democratic values and global security". On Gaza, José Manuel Albares pointed to "the need for an immediate and permanent ceasefire, the unconditional release of all hostages and the entry of humanitarian aid through all overland routes". The head of Spanish diplomacy also recalled that Spain will soon recognise the State of Palestine.

Founded by Darío Valcárcel in 1987 and headed since 2020 by Josep Piqué, "Política Exterior" offers information and analysis from different authors and political and economic studies on international relations every two months.
