Update: Suspect Arrested, Charged in 2022 Fatal Shooting at 2465 South Kirkwood Road

April 30, 2024- Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at 2465 South Kirkwood Road about 1:20 p.m. on December 7, 2022.

The suspect, Nicholas Allen Broussard, 31, is charged with murder in the 486 State District Court. A booking photo of Broussard is attached to this news release.

The victim is identified as Terrence Donnell Jordan, 29.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives B. Nabors and D. Hobson reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found Mr. Jordan suffering from gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced him deceased.

At that time, the suspect was described only as a black male.

Further investigation identified Broussard as the suspect in this case. Broussard was arrested on Monday (April 29) without incident and booked into the Harris County Jail.
