7/30/2021 – Celebrate National Friendship Day and Dogust By Bringing Home a Friend From LA Animal Services!

Los Angeles, July 30, 2021 - For many of us, our pets are our best friends, so in celebration of National Friendship Day (July 31, 2021) and Dogust (August 1, 2021), the universal birthday given to all shelter and rescue dogs (as we often don't know the exact birthday of our adopted animal companion), LA Animal Services is encouraging animal lovers to open their hearts and homes by adopting a new furry friend! To encourage pet adoptions, LA Animal Services will be offering discounted adoption fees on Saturday, July 31 and Sunday, August 1. Adoption fees for dogs will be $51 (not including license) and $75 for puppies. The adoption fees for cats and kittens will be waived thanks to a generous grant from the ASPCA.
