Calling for Action to Support Israel

Yes, Israel ABSOLUTELY has the right (and responsibility) to deal with Iran after that terrorist regime launched an unprecedented attack over the weekend, sending roughly 300 drones and missiles towards Israeli soil.

It doesn't matter that almost all of those failed to reach their target. It doesn't matter that Israel, the U.S., and others were able to thwart the attack. It doesn't matter that a significant number of Iran's weapons were unreliable and inaccurate. Nor does it matter that Israel's casualties were minimal.

Go back and look at what I've said - repeatedly - over the years about Iran. That nation is one of the world's largest state-sponsors of terrorism. Every day Iran is working to unleash hell throughout the region, while cowardly funneling many of their terrorist activities through proxy groups like Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Islamic Resistance.

An emboldened Iran is a dangerous thing for the Middle East and the world. And NOTHING would embolden Iran more than for their attack this past weekend on Israel to go without response. That's why it was so inappropriate for Joe Biden - who has been WRONG on just about every major foreign policy position - to tell Benjamin Netanyahu to "take the win" on Sunday. Friends, Israel underwent a MAJOR attack this weekend by a terrorist regime that openly calls for Israel's destruction. The fact that 300 drones and missiles either failed or were shot down is NOT a win for Israel! Who in the **** is advising our President?!

But let's not forget, this is the same Joe Biden who bends over backwards to appease Iran. Remember that lopsided prisoner swap back in October where we got 5 prisoners, and Iran got 5 prisoners… plus six billion dollars? Remember the limp-wristed response from this White House after Iranian-backed militants killed three American troops and injured over 30 others back in January? Sadly, this Administration is projecting weakness instead of strength.

The House of Representatives already passed an emergency spending bill for Israel back in November. This was H.R. 6126, called the "Israel Security Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2024." It was an offset bill, meaning there were spending reductions elsewhere to pay for the spending to help Israel. (Which I voted in favor of.) The Senate has done nothing yet with this bill, so the House Freedom Caucus is calling for action on this legislation to help support Israel, and warning House leadership not to ram through other foreign aid packages without offsets.
