Rockland Trust’s Investment Management Group Appoints Claudia Bender as Vice President and Relationship Manager

Osterville, MA - April 13, 2021- Rockland Trust announced today the hiring of Claudia Bender, CFP^® as Vice President and Relationship Manager for the Bank'sInvestment Management Group (IMG). Claudia will be helping clients work toward their short and long-term financial goals through detailed financial planning, wealth management, and estate planning analysis. She will work primarily out of IMG's Osterville office and assist clients across Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket, and the South Coast.

Claudia has over 16 years of experience working in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Rockland Trust, she held positions at Eastern Bank Wealth Management, Morgan Stanley, and Bank of America/Merrill Lynch.

Claudia earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Connecticut College and her master's degree from Boston University. She holds a Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University and has had her CFP® designation since 2012. 'I am thrilled to join Rockland Trust's growing Investment Management Group. My holistic approach to understanding my client's financial needs aligns very well with IMG's focus on building strong relationships in order to help work through each client's unique situation,' said Claudia.

Claudia is on the Financial Stability Impact team for the Cape and Islands United Way and lives in Marion with her husband and two young children.
