Gannon University's Orlando Biomedical Ethics and Catholic Social Teaching Lecture Series presents Ariel F. Cole, M.D., geriatric clerkship director, Florida State University College of Medicine and director of geriatric fellowship, AdventHealth.

Cole will present "Dementia: Diagnosis to End of Life Care" beginning at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 13 in the Ruskin Academic Building Lecture Hall. Zoom links will be sent to registrants prior to the lecture.

Dr. Coleis the director of the geriatric residency program and assistant director of the family medicine residency program at AdventHealth Orlando. Board-certified in family medicine and geriatric medicine, Dr. Cole received her medical degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa and completed her residency and fellowship training at Florida Hospital (now AdventHealth). Dr. Cole teaches medical students, residents and geriatric fellows who care for elderly patients in the hospital, outpatient clinics and nursing homes. She also serves as the clerkship director for geriatrics at Florida State University College of Medicine, Orlando campus. Dr. Cole is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Geriatrics Society and AMDA, the Society for Post-acute and Long-term Care Medicine.
