Twillingate RCMP investigates arson at residential property in Cottlesville

Twillingate RCMP is investigating an arson that occurred at a residence in Cottlesville on Saturday, February 4, 2023.

Early Saturday evening, police received a report of a residential fire on Main Street in Cottlesville. Firefighters, who attended the scene at approximately 5:00 p.m., promptly extinguished the fire and reported the incident to police. Evidence gathered at the scene has determined that the fire was intentionally set.

Twillingate RCMP, along with the Office of the Fire Commissioner, are continuing their investigation.
