Southeastern boasts largest graduating class in university history; Spring commencement ceremonies to be held on Friday and Saturday

Southeastern Oklahoma State University will hold its 2024 spring commencement ceremonies on Friday, May 3, and Saturday, May 4, in Durant.

On Friday, May 3, master's degrees will be conferred at 6 p.m., and Saturday, May 4, baccalaureate degrees will be awarded at 9 a.m.

The Spring 2024 graduating class is the largest graduating class in the university's history, with 823 students graduating - 349 baccalaureate degree recipients, 442 graduate degree recipients, and 32 certificate recipients. There are representatives from 41 states, 18 countries, and 15 sovereign tribal nations. Within the graduating class, 332 graduates have indicated first-generation status, with 49 indicating legacy status - having a parent or grandparent who previously graduated from Southeastern.

Both ceremonies will be held in Bloomer Sullivan Arena and will also be available for viewing online at www.SE.edu and on the SE Facebook and YouTube pages.
