Press Release - South Main and Crowfoot Roads Notice of Construction and Road Closure

Beginning on or about April 22, 2024, South Main Road will be closed to through traffic south of Joy Street to Crowfoot Road while Emery & Sons Construction prepares the roadway for paving. Crowfoot Road will also be closed during this time from South Main Road to View Lane. The closure of both roads is expected to last until May 10, 2024, barring any weather delays.

Motorists who normally use South Main Road and this section of Crowfoot Road to access residential areas are encouraged to find alternative routes during the construction. A detour map is included with this notice. Residents living within the construction area will be afforded reasonable access but should expect short periods of time where access to individual driveways may not be possible in addition to periodic delays and other related inconveniences.

Message Boards will be put up throughout the area informing motorists of the closures. Residents are also encouraged to go the City of Lebanon website at https://www.lebanonoregon.gov/gisfor continuous updates regarding construction location and current road closures.
