Seminar dedicated to the results of joint research with the Bank of Korea 9 Jan 2025

The Central Bank hosted final seminar as part of the Knowledge Partnership Program (KPP) of the Bank of Korea.

During the seminar, joint team members from the Bank of Korea and Sungkyunkwan University (South Korea) discussed the results of conducted research on reserve management improvement and policy recommendations on fixed income securities investments.

Participants emphasized the importance of efforts to further increase the efficiency of international reserve management in Uzbekistan and highlighted the significance of the achieved results. Additionally, it was noted that recommendations based on advanced international practices studied during the research will be implemented in the relevant activities of the Central Bank.

During the bilateral meeting held following the seminar, parties discussed further cooperation within KPP framework as well as potential topics for the next research project.
