Rome Road Closure Begins Monday, May 13

The Peoria County Highway Department will be closing a section of Rome Road starting Monday, May 13, 2024 as Ameren Illinois will be removing and replacing the gas utility main that crosses underneath it. The closure will be between Illinois Route 29 and Old Galena Road; please see the attached map. Work is expected to last through Friday, May 24, conditions permitting. Residents living on Rome Road will be able to access their property.
