The Gibraltar Financial Services Commission (GFSC) is issuing a consumer alert regarding the website "http://Bitsoxc.com".

This website is falsely purporting to be affiliated with The Badger Technology Company Limited (Bitso International) and appears to be providing distributed ledger technology services ("DLT"). The provision of DLT is a regulated activity, requiring authorisation from the GFSC.

The website http://Bitsoxc.com is not associated with any firm authorised by the GFSC.

Bitso International is a regulated company in Gibraltar and has no association with "Bitsoxc.com". Bitso International is authorised under the Financial Services Act 2019; find the entry on the GFSC register here.

How to protect yourself

The GFSC strongly advises consumers to liaise with financial companies which are authorised by the GFSC and can be found on the GFSC's Regulated Entities Register. If a company does not appear on the Register but claims it does, contact the GFSC Regulatory Investigations team on +350 222 59050.
