In December, we announced our latest beta release of VMware Blockchain for Ethereum, which included updated features and enhancements that deliver on privacy, more governance over accounts, and a simpler deployment for enterprises.

What is Web3 Labs?

Web3 Labs' Sirato Blockchain Explorer and Web3j library make it easier for developers to build and manage Ethereum applications at scale. Coming out of our latest beta release, Sirato Blockchain Explorer now fully supports deployment scripts for Kubernetes on the VMware Blockchain platform. Below is a dashboard that shows how easy it is to view all your transactions in one place.

• Launch a minikube local cluster and check the status

• Clone the Sirato repository from GitHub. Change directories to the Kubernetes-specific folder. Launch the Sirato script, which specifies the RPC endpoints of the nodes of the VMWare blockchain network and check the status of the launched containers

• Enable ingress to access the Sirato web service via your browser

• Once the dashboard is compiled and running, refresh the page to load the Sirato dashboard. This shows the total transactions, tokens, and contracts created over different time periods. Note: this can take 5-10 minutes

• The 'Contracts' tab indicates the different types of contacts deployed on the network and the ERC standards they implement. One can click on a specific contract to see all the transactions and events that have taken place on it. Sirato's capabilities for address mapping allow you to annotate contracts with descriptive names to make their purpose clear, like the privacy contacts embedded within the VMware Blockchain Platform

• The Sirato web explorer also has a dedicated Transactions view and Blocks view for detailed information. The mapping capabilities value becomes clear here where you can see how the VMware Blockchain privacy components are bootstrapped into the platform. Sirato's capability to upload contract metadata so transaction details can be even further analyzed.
