Homicide Detectives Investigating Monday Night's Fatal Shooting on Gallatin Pike North

Homicide Unit detectives are investigating Monday's 10:50 p.m. fatal shooting on Gallatin Pike North at Anderson Lane. Shalena McCall, 21, was the front seat passenger in a Nissan Altima when the car took gunfire from another sedan. She died at the scene.

The driver, Taylor McEwen, 22, was also injured by the gunfire. He was transported to Skyline Medical Center where he is being treated

The motive for the gunfire has not yet been determined. A detailed interview with McEwen has not yet taken place due to his medical condition.
