Notice of Resident Death at Local Hospital

NOTICE OF RESIDENT DEATH AT LOCAL HOSPITAL

On Friday, March 7, 2025, an individual in the custody of the D.C. Department of Corrections (DOC), Mario Ramírez-Treviño (63), was transported to Howard University Hospital, where he later passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025. While in DOC custody, Mr. Ramírez-Treviño received ongoing medical care for a long-term serious health condition. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
