Student crowned Miss Universities of South Africa

A second-year Entrepreneurship student was recently crowned Miss Universities of South Africa.

Anesipho Dyosi, who hails from Mthatha in the Eastern Cape, is also a poet and the author of a poetry book titled: Siba Lwam Pheleka Le Nimba.

"I'm overwhelmed. I have mixed emotions because as much as I believed in myself and knew that I was capable, I was a bit scared because the competition was really tough," Anesipho said about her win.

She decided to enter the competition after reading about it on Facebook and already has a string of titles to her name.

These include: Miss Educational Western Cape 2021, Miss Face of Goodness 2021, Miss Local Heritage 2021, Miss Queen of Beauty 2022, Miss Melanin 2022, Miss International Rolemodels 2022 and Miss CPUT GCI 2022.
