TRAFFIC ALERT - New Castle County - Lane Restrictions on Broom Street for Repaving
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces to motorists that there will be daytime lane restrictions w/flaggers on Broom Street between Maryland Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue for milling, paving, ADA upgrades and signing. The work will begin on Thursday, April 4th and is expected to be complete in August 2024.
Additionally, there will be add-on locations to this project including Beech Street and Madison Street intersection and on Rogers Road between Medori Boulevard and New Castle Avenue. The completion date for these two locations have not yet been determined.
Motorists should use caution and expect minor delays in the area.
