MEDIA ADVISORY: INPUT NEEDED FOR I-635/I-20/US 175 FEASIBILITY STUDY IN DALLAS

December 30, 2022

DALLAS/BALCH SPRINGS - Travelers in the southeast part of the metro have an opportunity to help shape the future of the Interstate 635 (I-635), Interstate 20 (I-20) and US 175 interchanges.

A feasibility study is underway by the Texas Department of Transportation to help determine possible improvements in this area, which includes these corridors:

  1. I-635 between I-20 and Elam Road
  2. I-20 between St. Augustine Drive and Seagoville Road
  3. US 175 between St. Augustine Drive and Edd Road.

An online survey will launch Monday, January 2, 2023 to gather input from the public about their concerns with current traffic flows and also any suggestions for improvements. The survey is interactive and will only take a few minutes to complete.
