Loudoun Offers Workshop for Landlords about Rental Voucher and Subsidy Programs

Loudoun County will host a workshop for landlords about the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) and Rapid Re-Housing programs on Thursday, June 13, 2024, 4:00-6:00 p.m., at the Rust Library, 380 Old Waterford Road NW in Leesburg. The workshop will feature representatives from the county's departments of Housing and Community Development and Family Services, and the Loudoun Continuum of Care.

Current and prospective landlords and property managers are encouraged to attend to:

• Learn about the basics of the HCV Program and Rapid Re-Housing Program.
• Learn about the benefits of renting to voucher holders, including regular rent payments and inspections by the local government.
• Learn about "Source of Funds Discrimination."
• Review recent and upcoming changes in the Loudoun HCV Program, including inspections and policy changes.
• Meet program staff and listen to the experience of a landlord working with the programs.
