OSF HealthCare Little Company of Mary Medical Center announces the creation of the Patient Care Excellence and Professional Development Fund

OSF HealthCare Little Company of Mary Medical Center is announcing the creation of the Patient Care Excellence and Professional Development Fund.

This fund is designed to help Mission Partners at OSF HealthCare pursue any learning they desire, and it will help retain critical front-line teams.

"This is an exciting moment in the Sisters of Little Company of Mary's long and caring relationship with Chicago's South Side today as the Sisters make it clear that they are committed to making sure this community has access to high-quality Catholic health care for a long time to come," said Kathleen Kinsella, president at OSF HealthCare Little Company of Mary Medical Center.

This gift is made possible by a generous endowment from the Sisters, and with matching donations from OSF Foundation, the fund will provide clinical Mission Partners - our front line of patient care - with opportunities to advance their careers and improve their skills, to the benefit of those they serve.

This investment will attract and retain committed and talented people, who want to be the best and give their community the best they have," said Kinsella. "Our Mission Partners (employees) take a lot of pride in the work they do, and continuous improvement is key to providing expert care that helps a healthy community thrive.
