News Release
(Wednesday, July 6, 2022) - The City of Rochester's Department of Recreation and Human Services is hosting its 2nd Annual Play in Nature Event from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. this Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Lower Maplewood Park, 107 Bridgeview Drive.
There is ample parking at 107 Bridge View Drive as well as street parking in the surrounding neighborhood. We want to encourage all of Rochester's young people to get out and enjoy nature!
In relation to the development of the Maplewood Nature Center, the City adopted the Rochester Children's Outdoor Bill of Rights (COBOR), a community informed list of nature based activities that every child should have the opportunity to explore.
