Second Shoplifter Charged with Shoplifting in Wetherby Town Centre

A second Shoplifter has been charged with Shoplifting in Wetherby Town Centre.

Following the arrest of a man charged with 20 offences on Wednesday 10th April 2024, our Neighbourhood Policing Teams were investigating further individuals.

Subsequently a second suspect, a female, was interviewed and charged with 39 shoplifting offences and remanded in custody to attend court at a later date.

A very large number of these 39 offences were committed in Wetherby Town Centre.
