IME Customers Purchased Vacuum Bottom

On Tuesday, April 16, 2024, the IME's open auction trading floor witnessed trade of 94,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 8,000 tonnes of steel slabs, 3,744 tonnes of styrene monomer, 2,500 tonnes of fine iron ore and 18 tonnes of precious metals concentrate.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on its metals and minerals trading floor 250,000 tonnes of sponge iron, 60,000 tonnes of iron ore pellets, 8,300 tonnes of galvanized steel sheets, 4,500 tonnes of CRC, 2,450 tonnes of copper rods, 2,440 tonnes of steel blooms, 2,134 tonnes of angle bars, 1,825 tonnes of U-channels, 600 tonnes of tinplate sheets, 500 tonnes of aluminum billets, 170 tonnes of aluminum alloy ingots 50 tonnes of aluminum rods.

There were also 18,360 tonnes of cement sold in matching trading system.

Next was the IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor with trade of 25,415 tonnes of polymeric products, 13,000 tonnes of lube cut, 2,300 tonnes of linear alkylbenzene, 1,100 tonnes of bitumen and 1,050 tonnes of sulfur lumps.

It's worth noting that the export ring played host to trade of 45,105 tonnes of bitumen, 15,000 tonnes of iron ore pellets and 100 tonnes of waterproofing materials.

Last but not least was the IME's side market with 10,308 recyclable car accessories, 1,500 empty drums, 1,060 tonnes of steel scraps, 1,000 wooden box wastes, 670 tonnes of tissues, 242 plastic barrel wastes, 200 tonnes of butadiene and 100 tonnes of molybdenum oxide traded on it.
