JTC supports Gresham House sustainable fund launch

JTC's Fund Services team has supported Gresham House on the successful launch of their British Sustainable Infrastructure Fund II LP (BSIF II), with JTC appointed to provide governance, company secretarial, fund administration and accounting support.

BSIF II, which has a target size of £500m, looks to invest in sustainable infrastructure in the UK and follows the impact driven approach to infrastructure pioneered by its predecessor, BSIF I.

Since 2017, JTC has supported Gresham House, a specialist alternative asset manager, on a number of fund and co-investment vehicles. BSIF II will be serviced from JTC's Guernsey office, one of 19 offices globally in 11 jurisdictions.

Mariana Enevoldsen, Client Services Director - Fund Services at JTC in Guernsey, said:

"I'm delighted to see that BSIF II has successfully launched and raised such a significant amount which will go to creating real solutions to the most pressing environmental challenges. We have a great relationship with Gresham House and look forward to them meeting their full fundraising target for this fund and developing many more investment products that support sustainable infrastructure and provide exciting investment opportunities for limited partners in the future."

James Tracey, MD of JTC's Guernsey office, added:

"We are proud to work with Gresham House as they continue to build a portfolio of innovative, alternative funds. JTC has a strong culture and history of shared ownership which aligns with BSIF II's goals of benefiting the wider community. We have extensive experience with open and closed-end funds in Guernsey, and especially in the infrastructure and renewables space. I would like to add my personal congratulations to the team at Gresham House and also to thank to Mariana and her team for their commitment in supporting the fund launch and the future raising of capital."
