Middle East Regional Office: Urgent statement regarding the recent Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip in occupied Palestine

Dear brothers, sisters

The Regional Office of the World Federation of Trade Unions in the Middle East condemns the recent attacks of the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip. These attacks have resulted in the death of ten martyrs, including children, in clear violation of all UN international conventions and norms. The repeated violation of the Charter of the United Nations by the Israeli occupation state confirms that imposing deterrent sanctions against it has become the only way in light of its failure to comply with the international charter by withdrawing from the lands it occupied and from attacks on the defenseless Palestinian people.

We call on the international community, the Security Council, and international organizations to practice pressure and demonstrations around the world to stop Israel from its continuous aggression.
