TRAFFIC ALERT - New Castle County - Resend--Upcoming Ramp Closures for I-95/Rt 896 Interchange Bridge Girder Installation
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces to motorists the second stage of bridge girder installation for the southbound I-95 to southbound Route 896 flyover ramp is anticipated to start on Wednesday, January 31st (weather permitting).
This stage requires overnight closures of the southbound I-95 off ramp to southbound Route 896 as well as a lane closure on southbound I-95 for four nights-tentatively scheduled for January 31st, February 1st, February 5th and 6th.
Detailed information regarding the timing of the lane and ramp closures will be issued once the dates are confirmed.
