Saga Furs online auction concluded with selling of Cross type minks

September auction concluded today with the offering of various Cross type minks. Silver Cross reached to high sales percentages, while demand for other types was selective.

In total, more than 100 active bidders participated in our online auction 9-16 September. The Chinese market was the most dominant buyer, with support from e.g. Turkey, Russia, South Korea, Greece and Italy.

This auction was the last one of the successful 2020/2021 selling season. The value of Saga Furs brokered pelts for the entire season rose to a higher level than before the pandemic outbreak. As a result, mink farming has become profitable again and profitability of fox farming is moving in the right direction.
