Natchitoches Chamber, NSU Baseball will team up to celebrate local businesses April 27

NATCHITOCHES - Just ahead of Small Business Week, the Natchitoches Area Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Northwestern State University Athletics to host Celebrate Local Day at NSU Baseball. Local businesses are invited to set up vendor booths with samples, handouts, experiences and more at the April 27 home baseball game vs. Houston Christian.

"This is a great opportunity for local businesses and organizations to gain exposure to NSU students and visitors who traveled in for the game, all at no cost," said Chamber President Laura Lyles, who will throw out the first pitch. "We greatly appreciate our partnership with NSU to offer opportunities such as these to better connect our business community to the NSU campus and vice versa."

Game time is 2 p.m. Saturday, April 27 for the conference series that will take place April 26-28.

Lyles asks businesses to sign up at Business Registration for Celebrate Local Day at NSU Baseball (office.com) by April 22 to determine number of tables and other requirements. As soon as a business commits, the Chamber will share the business name and logo on social media. Businesses can set up between 10 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. on gameday. All table spaces should be ready by 1 p.m. prior to the 2 p.m. game time.
