SABIC Pioneer Ibrahim A. Bin Salamah Passes Away

SABIC and its affiliates would like to offer the deepest condolences over the death of Mr. Ibrahim A. Bin Salamah, the former Vice Chairman and Managing Director (CEO), and one of the SABIC pioneers who formulated its idea, carried its ambition, and led its path to realize the dream of the nation toward industrialization. The generation who strived to build a Saudi industrial base, applying cutting-edge technologies, and raising the contribution of petrochemical industry to the national GDP to reduce reliance on oil.

Due to his efforts, along with his peers, SABIC has witnessed many achievements, most notably in human capital development and enhancing Saudi manpower with high industrial and technical skills. He also contributed to SABIC global reach and its competitive capabilities.

We ask Allah Almighty to have mercy on the deceased, to dwell him in his vast paradise, and to give his family and relatives patience and solace.
