Greenberg Traurig advises HighBrook on the sale of ’Moabit Office’ Property in Berlin

Greenberg Traurig has advised real estate private equity investor HighBrook on the sale of the "Moabit Office" office property in Berlin. Berenberg Real Estate Berlin, a special purpose real estate fund, is the buyer. The closing of the transaction took place at the beginning of this year.

The office building is located in the Moabit district in Berlin-Mitte. The district is characterized by an urban mix of industrial and Wilhelminian architecture. HighBrook had acquired the seven-story building with 4,500 square meters of office space in 2020, revitalized it and leased it to several users on a long-term basis.

Greenberg Traurig had comprehensively advised HighBrook on all legal aspects of the purchase, lease, and sale.

Background: Greenberg Traurig has advised HighBrook on several transactions in the Berlin real estate market, including on the sale of the historic Postbahnhof building ensemble in Berlin-Friedrichshain.
