Driver of White Mercury Sable Sedan Sought for Today's Fatal Collision with a Pedestrian at Madison Apartment Complex

Officers continue to be on the lookout for a white Mercury Sable sedan that struck and fatally injured a woman at 1:45 a.m. today in the parking lot of Neely Meadows Apartments at 600 Cheyenne Boulevard in Madison.

The deceased is identified as Caroline Conner, 32, of Nashville.

The investigation shows that Conner was on foot in the parking lot and was engaged in an argument with two persons in the Sable, a male driver and female passenger. At one point during the argument, the Sable was driven to the rear of the apartment complex, came back around to the front, and struck Conner while traveling at a high rate of speed. She was on the hood of the car for a short time until it made a left turn onto Cheyenne Boulevard. Conner was transported to Skyline Medical Center where she died.

The Sable is believed to have damage to its hood and windshield. Anyone with information about the car and/or the male and female inside it is asked to contact Nashville Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
