'Forbes': State of Connecticut Ranked One of the Best Employers of 2023
State of CT Receives National Recognition for Offering Job Growth, Competitive Benefits, and Flexible Schedules
(HARTFORD, CT) - Today, Department of Administrative Services (DAS) Commissioner Michelle Gilman announced the State of Connecticut's inclusion on Forbes' list of America's Best Large Employers 2023. The recognition is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., the statistics portal and industry ranking provider.
"It's an honor for the State of Connecticut as an employer to be included on Forbes' rankings. The rankings confirm what we already know: Working for the state is a rewarding experience to make a difference, meet the needs of residents across Connecticut, and build a meaningful career in public service," Commissioner Gilman said. "The recognition from Forbes is a testament to the State of Connecticut's diverse and talented workforce, workplace culture, and opportunities to make lasting community impacts."
The State of Connecticut ranked 355th overall in the list of large employers and was 12th among other state governments to make the list. The evaluation was based on direct and indirect recommendations from employees who were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their employers to friends and family.
