Sexual Assault Alert, Dufferin Street and Lawrence Avenue West area, Man Wanted, Image Released

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance identifying a man wanted in a Sexual Assault investigation.

On Sunday, April 14, 2024, at approximately 2:35 p.m., police responded to a call for a sexual assault in the Dufferin Street and Lawrence Avenue West area.

It is reported that:

• the victim was standing in an elevator inside of a building
• the suspect entered the elevator and sexually assaulted the victim
• the victim then exited the elevator

The suspect is described as male, 30 to 35 years-old, with a dark moustache. He was wearing a plaid shirt with a white t-shirt underneath, black pants with a white stripe down the side, a black baseball cap, black/white sandals and was carrying a black purse.
