PA Turnpike to Restrict Route 401 (Conestoga Road) at Night in West Pikeland Township

King of Prussia, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission will continue bridge demolition on Route 401 (Conestoga Road) in West Pikeland Township, Chester County.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
  • Tuesday, May 14, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Route 401 (Conestoga Road) between Newcomen Road and 7 Oaks Road. Work may also take place on Wednesday, May 15, and Thursday, May 16, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, if needed by the contractor.
Motorists should use caution and be prepared for slow or stopped traffic approaching the work area. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
