Traffic stop in Massena, NY leads to a drug arrest

On April 15, 2024, Troop B- Violent Gangs and Narcotics Enforcement Team (VGNET) charged KASINE A. FORSEY, age 29, of Passaic, New Jersey with three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (each a B-Felony) and Criminal Impersonation 2nd (A-Misdemeanor) after a traffic stop was conducted by New York State Troopers on West Hatfield Road in Massena. During the traffic stop, New York State Troopers located approximately 500 bags of heroin/fentanyl and 38 grams of cocaine. The Criminal Impersonation 2nd charge was related to FORSEY providing a false name to law enforcement during this traffic stop.

FORSEY was arraigned in Massena Court and remanded without bail to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.

During this arrest, Troop B-VGNET was assisted by members of the New York State Police Counter Terrorism Intelligence Unit, New York State Police Community Stabilization Unit, St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force, U.S. Border Patrol, U.S. Homeland Security Investigations and St. Lawrence County Sheriff's K-9 unit.
